Movie Night With Mom II: 10 Ways I Showed My Dad I Loved Him
I wrote this book to capture how I, as a son, loved his father. I was inspired to write about the ways I showed my father I loved him in our African American household: from giving him a shave, bathing him, feeding him, becoming his caregiver and advocate to taking him on car cruises, watching movies and sitcoms with him, and even just telling him "I love you!"
There are some people out there who are not big on giving hugs and saying "I love you," especially between father and son. I have truly enjoyed every part of writing it. I hope my book captures a son's dedication to his father in a unique and uplifting way.

Movie Night With Mom III:: 10 Ways That I Show That I Love Myself
I felt compelled to write Movie Night With Mom Volume 3: (10 Ways That I Show I Love Myself), to show people that they should cherish the memories they have of their loved ones. Taking care of and giving back to the people that you love should be celebrated. Even in my case, where my parents moved on to be with the Lord, I still had the same passion, gentleness, and love in my heart to give to others. I realized it was important to remind me to love myself.
I wanted to illustrate the small acts of love for myself by going on a 21 day fast, fasting 10 percent of my day after the 21 day fast, creating a gym challenge, letting go of all my fears, getting closer to God, changing my diet and eating habits, inspiring generational health, speaking life and grace into my life, and using my gifts to show love to myself and the people around me.
